So we have you interested.... what next? To join Under Favour of Night is really quite easy. For the short explanation, join the Camarilla and then get hold of the Storyteller and join UFoN. Still got a lot of questions on how to join? Then read on, MacDuff.
In keeping with the Camarilla's rules, anyone is welcome to join. The more, the merrier. First, you must become a member of the Camarilla, so it is best to contact either one of the Storytellers or Coordinators. They can then provide you with a Camarilla membership form. Membership costs $20 a year (or $10 after March) and all memberships must be renewed in September. Memberships can be purchased for up one extra year in advance.
Unfortunately, guests are not permitted as they are not covered by the Camarilla's insurance (hence why you must join before playing in a Cam Chapter). What if you're not sure whether UFoN is right for you or not? Well, there is always the 'try before you buy' option. For up to three sessions you can pay an extra $1 on top of any session fee (session fees are used towards the cost of venue hire, printing character sheets, etc). After that however you must become a member to attend.
Once you have joined you can play your character in any town or city in the world that supports a Cam Venue. But that's a point - you need a character! If you don't know how to go about creating a character your best bet is to sit down with the Storyteller and have them go through it with you. If you do know what you're doing just be warned, the more unusual your character, the higher up the Camarilla chain it needs to be sent for approval. Also be aware that you can not go over your venue storyteller's head to a higher storyteller if they choose not to pass your character for whatever reason.
Still confused? Simply go to the Who To Contact page and email any enquiries to the storytellers or coordinators who are always more than willing to help.
